Trail Description:
I've been trying to locate some trails in the Lynnwood, WA area and stumbled across this area, which I'm calling the pit. It looks like a lot of people just dump there trash back here, but hey it's dirt, mud, and an okay place to mountain bike. It's mostly a dirt road, but also has some single track through the trees to keep you on your toes. I've also found a few good drops to practice on also. Enjoy !

How to get there:
Take the 128th ST. exit off of I-5 and head east. Take a left onto 3rd Ave. SE. You'll see an apartment complex on your right and an entrance to the trails staight ahead.

This is now a 1/2 developed, completely treeless piece of property. There is nothing to ride. We use to wheel our trucks at the same property and had the same problems with the lawless leaving stolen cars on the property. Pretty sad.

Yes, this area is a haven for unsavory peoples. this is a high crime area and this "pit" is nothing more than that; a pit.

1) This trail is in woods habitated by drug dealers, homeless and various unsavory characters. Paint-ballers routinely accost and assualt anyone passing thru. Drug deals occur in broad daylight. 2) The area is clearly marked 'no tresspassing' and police actively patrol the area and issue citations. The neighbors in the abutting condo complex readily call 911. So, not safe and not friendly territory.
