The Oaks

Trail Description:
The world's best fire road. 32 klms of downhill which you can take at blistering speed if you want. Some climbs but the vast majority is downhill. As you come off the road you can take another 5 klms of fast downhill singletrack which leaves you exhilarated and exhausted. All set in beautiful virgin bushland. I've ridden it several times and seen no-one at all. As good as it gets.

How to get there:
Take the Blue Mountains train to Woodford, exit the south side of the station, go left,right,left,left and the entry to the trail is on the right. You exit the trail at Glenbrook where you can catch the train back to Sydney.

Additional Notes:
An epic ride, best to get a map, and don't ride it alone the first time.

This ride is awsome. The single track at the end is fantastic. There is an awsome new map available in local bike shops
