Trail Description:
This is a great beginner trail for kids, the wife, or anyone looking for a nice easy ride at the lake. It is relatively flat with some small rolling hills. There's only one technical section that your beginners will have to walk but the rest of the trail is nice and easy. You'll ride along the edge of the lake for about 5 miles until you reach a marina. You can stop for a swim and then make your trip back.

How to get there:
From Fresno, take 41 N to Friant Rd. Head East on Friant for about 15 minutes until you see the first park entrance to Millerton Lake. You'll have to pay $5 to enter the park and the Ranger can give you a trail map and tell you how to get to the Blue Oak parking lot where the trail begins.

Nicely groomed trail with easy hills. A good workout and nice scenery. Easily accessible. Enter the lake from the Fresno side entrance off of Friant. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=36.986917,-119.680093&num=1&sll=36.986906,-119.680037&sspn=0.006016,0.013937&ie=UTF8&ll=36.986691,-119.680048&spn=0.006016,0.013937&z=17&iwloc=near
