An easy ride with interesting scenery and historical background.

Trail Description:
Start in the lower parking lot. Trail heads up main Monument road, crosses the Green River (5.4 miles from lot)and continues for another 2.5 miles. Take a right just past the #10 marker on the Cub Creek Tour. Trail continues to a dirt track winding up the hill on the right. Look for the wooden fence and the Monument Boundary marker. Stay on the main road until the fork and then go right. Head down the hill and cross the stream and go back up hill. Another four miles to the pavement where you turn left. Turn right at Hwy. Turn right at Jensen intersection onto Hwy 149. It is another six miles back to your car.

Route begins in Dinosaur National Monument, 20 miles east of Vernal at the lower parking lot just beyond Monument entrance station
