Trail Description:
This trail begins with a steep yet short run up. It wraps around the backside of the mouintain where there are tons of options to choose from. If you take the first spur to your left it has a lot of fun obstacles and tight single track to ride, but it is a loop unless you don't mind riding through someone's yard to ride back into town on the road. You can stay to the right and go up to a great look out over canyon lake, or go off onto one of the many trails on top of the hill. There is a great downhill section with tight switchbacks, and some great smooth downhill riding. There is also ways to get onto the Limestone cliffs that overlook Canyon Lake Park from the other side of Jackson Blvd. I have been riding here periodically for years and I always find something new.
How to get there:
Goto Blessed Sacrement Church in West Rapid on Jackson Blvd(Hwy 44). Goto the far west corner of the parking lot. There is a trail going straight up the hill. If you follow some trails to the end you will come out in Cleghorn Canyon, and on Minnekahta Street off of Canyon Lake Drive. These are mainly exit points and I recommend only starting from Blessed Sacrament.

Unless you are a sick bastard, DO NOT take the first left. It is not for the faint of heart and you better have some technical skills. This trail should be called "push it, pull it or drag it" 'cuase that's what you're gonna be doing. NOT FOR BEGINNERS.
