Trail Description:
Many trails at Marsh Creek. The variety of scenery on the trails is amazing. Within a mile you will hit large deep mud puddles, rocks, fields with tall grass, dirt paths in open woods, etc. I wish a real trail map were available at the park instead of the generic one that does not designate the trails by color as they are actually marked. I have tried the blue trail. It is LONG and has some challenging spots, but it is beautiful and fun. I would like to see some other reviews of the trails by more experienced riders.

How to get there:
North on Rt 100 in Exton. Follow signs off of Park Rd. I recommend the West dock entrance.

Additional Notes:
Keep an eye out for horse poo.

Pretty basic biking. Nothing difficult or worthy of putting on a helmet. The trails in the woods by the boat ramp (opposite side of lake from the rangers station) are easy and wide. The trail that sticks to the edge of the lake and takes you across the dam is nice. Once crossing over the dam, stick with the trail and ride it to the bottom of the dam. By far the highlight of the park. Expect to see lots of people there.

The blue trail has a lot of different types of riding: there's singletrack to start, then a fireroad, some singletrack across a field, double track, railroad ties, a bridge, some fast downhill. Great place to find some good riding.

I just raced here this weekend in the 3rd annual mountain bike fall classic. The race was awesome. Does anyone know where the results are posted? I know that the 2006 results are on the Wallace Township website under the trails section.

Just did this trail over the weekend..it's insane! the trail by the damn area is quite technical w/nice twisting singletrack. The blue trail that starts by the boat launch is crazy! We went towards the right & it led to a fast opening in a grassy field but soon we were staring at a huge washout area w/tons of rocks.. watch for horse poo & remember, they have the right of way.

there are two ways to ride marsh creek. one is to park at the downingtown duck pond and ride to the end of the struble trail at the end ride up the hill about 200 yards and go in the gate on the left. from here yu can hit a loop on the right half way down the hill or ride up the fire road to the top of the damn. there is a trail once you crest near the cage. this takes you across a field and past a farm. they do not mind. make a right out of the driveway down the hill. a left at the bottom. this takes you to the boat docks. you can also park here. the trails behind the bathrooms are the better ones here. this place is pretty easy but if you ad in the struble route you can get some miles out of it. the only good down hills are off the backside that run to the creek most are barely cut have some little drops and sudden fallen trees. if these are too easy find the trestle jump stash cross town
