Trail Description:
You can go up this fire road that brings you to the water tower. When you get there then you follow the trail going up the mountain. You will see a big pile of rocks. There you can go right for an easy ride or left for a technical ride. They are all single tracks. If you want to continue on the trail you can go up another hill which brings you to another big pile of rocks with a cross on it. There is another trail that bring you on the back side of the mountain.
How to get there:
Ranch Santa Fe Road turn of on La Costa Ave and you are at the mountain
Additional Notes:
supper fun, but short

It is a switchback w/ birms if you take the correct trail. Some of the rock gardens are tricky. If you can find the right part, some see-saws and other playground stuff for mtb'ing are there. Very steep on way up, even though it is a large amount of downhill once you get there, I strongly recommend not bringing your downhill bike. Directions: North on Rancho Santa Fe Road past Camino Junipero about 1/8 of a mile. the entrance is a paved road w/ a metal pipe swinging gate. Best to park around the corner or something because it definitely is not public land. It belongs either to the construction contractor or the water district. Either case, it's best not to get caught.
