Trail Description:
The trail is flat with minor rocks at first. It then steadily inclines and becomes rocky.

How to get there:
When you get to Silver follow highway 180 going to Cliff. You will see 2 water tanks and a road(Chloride Flts.RD) follow the road down to #89 ask the owner for directions to the trail.

This trail has been permanently closed by the owner. New signs have been posted. Access is gained only by forest rd. 853.

We were just in Silver city to ride... don't really know what scott martinez trail is but the advice of the above comment is right on.... go ride the Gomez peak trail system on little walnut road..... confusing signs but lots o fun.!!!!!!

I lived in Silver City for 2 years and rode all over the place and I've never heard of this trail. The area described is a subdivision and is mostly private property as far as I know.

This trail is not representative of the great riding we have here. There is a great trail system at Little Walnut Picnic Area, Fort Bayard Game Reserve and Signal Peak. Check with the local bike shops.
