Trail Description:
This free-ride park is a 300-acre facility, which is currently under development.
The grand opening is scheduled for September 2004 and there will be several events held at the property this upcoming summer.
Existing topographic features such as rock drop-offs will be incorporated into the trails, and additional man made features such as stunts and teeter-totters will be added in strategic locations. This park will offer users of any level a trail to ride and for others a technical challenge, pushing their personal limits.
How to get there:
The Bruce Peninsula Mountain Biking Adventure Park is about a 10-minute drive north east of Wiarton. The Trailhead parking lot is located on County Road 9, about 1 km north of the intersection of County Road 9 and County Road 18.

this place would have been 5 stars two years ago. over the past two years it has been going downhill. i went recently, only to find one of the stunts missing a section (teeter-totter in the main parking area), another feature closed, one of the features ripped up completely, and many other features in need of work.
the trails are very nice. they are wide, but challenging and make you pick your lines very well instead of telling you where to go like on most single track. for a free place, this is a great find.

spectacular trails. great northshore, and an cross-country trail network like no where else in Ontario. nice wooden sections, nice trails, and certain sections are pretty much natural pump tracks. my friend swears he saw a bear, and the "locals" warned to be cautious of the wildlife. but nothing more then brown bears I'd imagine.

by far one of the best trails in Ontario. the nice thing about this is that there is very little elevation gain. its flat but covered in rocks. so you can bring your DH bike and still have fun. the highlights of the place is the amazing northshore they add in. long snaking trails that offer everything from windy fast boardwalks, 6 foot high skinniest, or 3-4 foot drops.
note though this is not the best place for beginners. it is extremely rocky and if you aren't an experienced rider you will be hurting after. only show up on a hardtail if your confident with rocks. a full suspension 160mm bike is idea for this place and a full-face isn't the worst idea.

Note to all......watch out for the wildlife, i was loop 4 went i heard a loud crash somewhere in the middle of the loop, went there was no laughter i knew there was something out there, sure enough at the end of the loop i came across a massive black bear. thankfully went it saw me, it took off.

The trails are marked nicely and there are a good handful of man made obstacles. As for the trails, I found them wayyy to rocky, and full of tree roots. If you love rock gardens this will be heaven for you, for those who enjoy a quicker ride don't waste your time driving up there unless you are already in the area. Overall, I had fun but I probably won't be returning.

i have a singlespeed street/dirtjump bike would I still be able to ride here? Are there any jumps? I can ride trails on my singlespeed. Also i havent ridden here yet so if my rating doesnt make sense thats why

the trail itself is flat, rocky and a little too wide (not enough single track). but the stunts they have built adds excitement and will challenge all level of riders. there just isn't enough of it yet.
