Trail Description:
This is a CAMBA designed and maintained track. There are alot of logs and large roots. 1st part of trail is flat with a few logs and some down hill action. Tree line is awesome. Very tight. After you come out of the first part of the trail there a small section of flat farm that you can flat out fly. Then you back into the pine woods. This is where the trail really kicks in. A couple of small climbs. Lots of logs and small bridges. There is even a shortcut (jump) over a stream or you can go aroung it. All in all this is a nice ride. When it rains part of the trail cuts muddy. You also need to watch for horses. They are not suppose to be on the trail but some cowboys ignore the sign.
How to get there:
From 77 in Akron/Canton area take Massillon Rd Exit. North on Massillon Rd. Turn right on SR 619. Take 619 East about 7 miles. Turn right on Congress Lake Rd. About 2 miles park enterence on right hand side. Mountain Bike parking on left hand side about 1/4 mile in from park gate. Trail head is accross the road. There are plenty of signs and is easy to find.

I rode the trail twice and it was really alot of fun. It would be boring for an advanced mountain biker but a good ride for a beginner. And yes riding the trail twice is a good ride. One time is just too short. All in all i really like it.

i rode this trial the other day. it's a nice clean, fast
trail. but was a short. i ended up riding it twice just
to get a good ride in.
the directions are wrong, if you are going east
bound on 619 you need to turn left not right on
congress lake rode. it's right at the light were 43
takes a jog through the square.
