Trail Description:
Dirt and gravel loops wind throughout the area. The trails themselves are not very technically challenging, and are very fast in most areas. Mostly dirt trails with some gravel. However, there are some crazy hills to negotiate on the more "difficult" trails. Traffic is light to medium, but there can be joggers, dog walkers, and horseback riders.
Good for half an afternoon on a weekend. Be prepared to walk the numerous steep hills if you are not in good shape.
How to get there:
Take Highway 16/Yellowhead west out of Edmonton, and turn north onto Rge. Rd. 779 (approx. 20min out). There are easy to follow signs at the overpass and along the rest of the way. You can take either Twp. Rd. 534 or Twp. Rd. 540 to get to the area.

Trails are well kept and are good start for kids getting into mountain biking. My kids like, and it challenges them. It is a good stomping ground for cardio training and can easily spend a couple of hours doing the loops. There are some good hills which will make you huff. You will have to watch out for hikers with dogs, horses, and our new resident, Marvin the Moose. When your done, bring your fishing rod and go trout fishng at the pond.

This is a good trail for walkers, but boring for the bike. Good training for climbs though. If you're riding this and having fun I hope you'll stay out of my way on the real trails.

This place is exactly as described in the advanced area, excellent place to practice if you live nearby. I wouldn't waste my time coming here though to spend a day. I usually burn off an hour here in the evenings. Excellent cardio practice, the hills are a real grunt. Definitely low on the technical but fast.
