Trail Description:
Good, open Fire roads on the way up, awsome single track on the way down. This area has alot of roots to keep it exciting and your skills growing. Rooty single track around Lake Cochicewick. Lots of people walking their dogs in this area.

How to get there:
From I-93: Take Route 125 (Andover By-pass) north 7.3 mi. At traffic lights, merge left onto Route 114 west. At traffic lights opposite Merrimack College (on left), turn right onto Andover Street (remains Route 125) and follow for 0.2 mi. Turn right at traffic lights (remains Andover Street) and follow for 0.6 mi. (past The Stevens-Coolidge Place). Bear right at fork and continue 0.2 mi. to intersection at Old North Andover Center. Go straight over for 0.1 mi. and then left onto Stevens Street. Continue for 0.8 mi. to entrance on right.

From I-495: Take exit 42 and follow Route 114 east 1 mi. Turn left onto Route 133 east and follow for 0.2 mi. to lights and straight over (becomes Andover Street). Follow for 0.6 mi. (past The Stevens-Coolidge Place). Bear right at fork and continue 0.2 mi. to intersection at Old North Andover Center. Go straight over for 0.1 mi. and then left onto Stevens Street. Continue for 0.8 mi. to entrance on right. Limited roadside parking only.

They've ruined what little good riding there is here - the top has been logged out, so the trail is covered with wood chips; the nice downhill by the western entrance has been turned into a fire road you could drive your car up; and they're setting fire to the open space this week. Plus, the place is overrun with *ing dogs illegally off leash. There is some okay singletrack in places, but this is definately not as good riding as Holt Hill, and waaay below what is at Harold Parker. If you do go, pick a quiet week day to avoid the dogs.

if your gonna go to north andover to bike you might as well go to harold parker that is on this site, it is in andover and it is better
