Stagecoach/Phen Basen

Trail Description:
Starts at the top of Stagecoach rd. Enter the class 4 road. Go in about 1/4 mi. and read map. If you take the first right it will give more single trac and up hill. Or continue straight for just down hill. KEEP an eye on the markers on trees. When you come out to Phen Basen rd. continue till end of road go left to ride back to car or fork back to the right. Follow for about a quarter mi.look to the left after water culvert (trail will have a rock dead in the middle of entrance). Follow the ridden trail down to the Hideaway Inn and Restaurant.

How to get there:
On Rt 17 in Waitsfield go toward Mad River Glen the Hideaway will be on the left. Park in the back lot which is from the first entrance. YOU MUST PARK IN THE BACK!!!! Then leave drive way turn left go to Number nine hill. Follow that up Stagecoach rd. will be on your left. If you want a long ride pedal from the Hideaway.
