Trail Description:
A option to ride if Kelso is too busy or if runs are closed there for races. Main tracks for easy rec riders, but hidden gems pop off these for some great techy runs. Flat with small rolling sections. Watch out for the BENT RIM TRAIL. this is actually that about 2 Kms or un-ridable rock. I mean unrideable- ALL jagged huge rocks. However there is about 5 kms worth of great technical runs.

How to get there:
Follow directions to Kelso but instead of turning left onto TREMAINE, head further west and you will see the entrance on the right hand side about 6 mins from Kelso.

Additional Notes:
Great warm-up runs- nice and technical but watch out for the rocks!!

We've been riding Bent Rim for years and yeah it's tough but probably one of the most fun trails in the park. Two sections lower and upper. You can ride it all with good full suspension (and I mean good) with a little perseverance. Not of beginners or the jack rabbit latex crowd.

there are gravel trails 6 feet wide to get in some cardio and an easy ride. every so often you will see single track off the main. there are enough singletrack it would take 10+ hours to do or find all of it. thats if your strong enough. as mentioned many times there are rocks and roots galore to set you back. many sections will take a few tries to nail. slow and steady a good upper body workout. advanced sums it up

Bent Rim is a great trail but it is not for everyone. You must be prepared for lots of rocks. You need the right bike set-up (all mountain or freeride frame, shocks and wheel sets), technical skill and practice practice practice at knowing the right lines. I ride without armour but may purchase some because it is especially hard on the legs. We built some new bridges on the south section this spring.

Tis a complete waste of time. Anyone who enjoys Kelso should not even think about going here. Trail markers are terrible. Other than the double track that winds through this trail, all other trails leading off eventually turn into rocks and more rocks. There are mostly unride-able rocks that make you carry or walk your bike for almost 85% of the time. Bent rim trail is a complete waste of time. Trails were very small in length and covered with rocks and boulders that are impossible to ride on and continue endlessly. Overall this place was a waste of time and I will never return.

A great alternate to Kelso, especially if you love the technical challenge of rocks in just about every situation you could imagine. I found the trail markers easy to miss at times (especially if you're hauling ass!), which can put you on unrideable hiking trails. It'll take several visits to find all this place has to offer.

The good trails are far north of the main parking lot. Lots of people with dogs running loose and crapping all over near the main entrance. You are better of parking on a side rd to the north and entering there. Otherwise some pretty desent but rocky trails

I went to Hilton Falls late last summer o6 and we found it to be very Rocky. Kelso was closed so rather then make the drive back home we gave it a try. Most trails were average but we ventured onto Bent-rim trail this was a mistake. If you enjoy walking your bike nealry the entire trail to avoid jagged rocks then this trail might be for you. I don't understand why they even keep this segment of the trail running its just too un-ridable. Needs Work, Prep H

Its great for a local spot. Lots of connecting trails that head out of the park. Watch out tho you may end up getting lost. There are muliple stops on Guelph Line, Sixth Line, and Sideroad 10 where you can bust in for free. Its all about the tech. Bent Rim ain't that bad ona dry day.

The best. If your a technical rider. Will definetly test your skills on the double dimond runs. Can get in some good night riding here. If you sneak in at the 6th line entrance. Kelso next door does not have night riding.
