This trail is bounded by RR tracks on the west, powerlines on the north and a creek on the east and south with major loops of about 2.5 miles running N-S and lots of minor loops and offshoots that offer some very steep hills and climbing.

How to get there:
Take Clairmont Rd just past N. Druid Hills Rd and enter the trails from Mason Mills Park at the dead end past the tennis center (cross the RR tracks) to start at the middle of the loop, or enter from the new access off Desmond Dr. called Ira B. Melton Park, near Clarimont (follow the pink ribbons and cross the S. Branch of the N. Fork of Peachtree Creek on 4 cinder blocks to start at the south end of the loop).

Additional Notes:
The major loop is not marked, but relatively easy to make out, and takes about 25 minutes.

Great location in heart of Decatur. Mostly moderate to some hard terrain. There are not any "No Bike" signs that I saw.
