Trail Description:
This isn't just one track there are thousands with awesome downhillers and jumps you have to look out for most of these are dirt fire tracks but the downhillers are for toughies (unless you use the brakes) Don't get lost get a map called 'Wombat State Forest 4WD and Trail Bike Tracks' for $12.95 AUS

How to get there:
It is about a 1 hour trip from Melbourne but worth the drive. You can Start of in a place called Bullengarook just out from Gisborne Which is off the Calder Freeway.

Additional Notes:
Take a friend unless you are 100% sure of yourself and on the weekends watch out for the motorbikes

No the description is right. What you are talking about is the Wombat trail. The Wombat State Forest (which is the title) stretches from Woodend to Daylesford to Blackwood to Greendale.

Description is completely wrong. this is a network of awsome XC single track with one main loop that is 21km long. go to woodend cycles for a map.
