Del Valle Park, Ridge Line Trail

Trail Description:
Fire roads and Cattle trails. The fun single track is actually the hiking trail. I've never seen hikers though.

How to get there:
from SF: 580 East toward Tracy/Stockton. Exit Vasco Rd. in Livermore, Head South. It will dead end, turn Right. Follow about a mile or two, Turn Left on Mines Rd. Follow about6 miles to park entrance. To avoid paying for parking, park at the top of the hill, before the park entrance and follow that trail. That is ridgeline trail.

Up and down all day. A 15 mile ride will likely net you 3,000' of vert. Typical east bay steeps, like Coe, Pleasanton Ridge, Mt Diablo, etc. With some very narrow single track sections. No flat places. VERY few people, riders or anyone else. There are sometimes boaters, fishermen, some cattle. They can be very damaging to some softer trail sections. I like to start at Arroyo Road trailhead, and ride East Side Trail to the Marina with only a couple options for return, one being an ok road. Need good aerobic fitness to ride east bay mountains!
