Trail Description:
Extremely difficult ascent. If you can get up without tapping, you're a god/ess! It's about a 3/4 mile ascent, once you're over the top you'll find wide fire roads and miles of easy-to-difficult singletrack and fireroads.

How to get there:
Off Madera, turn into Wood Ranch (Wood Ranch Pkwy), head south about 2 miles. The pkwy dead-ends and continues left. At the dead end there's a dirt parking lot, there's the trailhead.

It is extremely difficult to climb, and it's easier if you get a good warmup, by following the green gate a ways. That way you don't blow up, since it climbs straight up. It's a bear, but if your strong you'll make it. It's even more fun coming down.
