Trail Description:
Trail is singletrack all the way, with three loops totaling 5 miles. You can bail at at two places for a shorter ride, but don't miss the long, straight downhill on the last loop. Lots of short steep hills, fairly technical, not too rooty, a few log obstacles and 4 bridges. Not for true beginners, but you don't need to be an expert. Awesome ride!
How to get there:
From I-64 just west of Williamsburg take exit 234 for Rt. 199 towards Lightfoot/Williamsburg, then exit onto Rt. 60 West, then immediate left onto Centerville Rd. Follow Centerville Rd. for about 4 miles, Freedom Park will be on the right at intersection with Longhill Rd. Follow the park entrance road to the end. Parking, port-a-john and trail maps are at trailhead.

At least 15 miles of nothing real hard
.A few hills are challenging, lots of
dips ,curves, humps and more man made
obstacles than I could count.I will say
this is one of the best maintained
trails I have ever seen.Every part of
this trail is exciting.

By far the best trails south of Richmond and north of N.C. It has actually 4 loops; A, B, C, and a D loop. The C loop is by far my favorite. It has some decent gap jumps 3, 5, 6, and 10ft drops, skinnies, etc.
What I like best about Freedom is the variety. If you fear the freeride, then one can always ride around it. Also, one has four trails to choose from! Total, this park has roughly 12mi of trails.

I love Freedom. There's plenty of technical challenge to the trail and lots of air to catch on all the jumps they've added. As a side note, this trail is closer to 12-15 miles, not 5 miles.

Awesome trail! Rode it while visiting from PA. Great flow, doesn't even feel like you climb. Nice technical jumps, drops, teeters, bridges, etc. Something for every skill level.

I agree with the kid above me, super rad trail, have hit it four times now and starting to get the flow and going fast. I am a begginer but in good shape, and think the trail is deff not too hard for novice rider, but then there is stuff that i dont even think about launching or charging (at least not yet) so it seems for a more advanced rider there would be plenty to keep you interested. some of the turns have an almost surfing-like flow to them that you can just be pumping through turns no peddling, sick!

This is the rawist cool rad trail ive ridden in the
williamsburg area! It was soooooo rad, if you take
the service road down and pass the bridge you will
see a trail directly to your left it is brand new and
so rad you have to try it out if you have and love for
your self and living( note i am a teenager and this
trail may not appeal to you)
