Stoner Trail

Trail Description:
A nice trail with a river view throughout most of the ride. The single track gets narrow in areas and, depending on the trail you choose, it can test the skills of your weekend worrier.

How to get there:
From I-20 go south on hwy 1 to the stoner intersection. take a left and at the end of stoner is the boat lauch and head of the trail. The trail starts at the south end of the parking lot.

Additional Notes:
Red, yellow and green markers show the trail. The green markers are exits to the blacktop trail.

Stoner Trail has got every skill test possible. Take a kid mtb day, stoneman challenge race, Full moon time trial, and The turkey trot is on Thanksgiving morning. The trail was built by 5 friends who had the vision and maintained by volunteers. The Stoner trail is where the trail head starts for most beginners. The Pro's maintain their skills by riding Stoner over and over faster and faster. Scooter's bike shop is like having an emergency pit crew on stand by. Cuz they are located at the foot of the barksdale bridge and next door to Mcdonald's.
