Trail Description:
Willamette Pass is a ski area by winter, but is used for mountain biking in the summer. Where the center lift is during the winter is a gondola, which you can use to get to the top of the mountain for about $10. The majority of the riding is downhill gravel. There are a few extreme biking trails, with large jumps and such. There are also some single track trails around the area. They are very fun to explore. The ski lodge is open during the summer, so you can get food and drink there. Willamette pass is great for day excursions, and if you want to stay for a couple of days, there are plenty of campsites around the area.
How to get there:
Head South on I-5 until you reach OR-58. Merge onto OR-58 via EXIT 188A toward OAKRIDGE / KLAMATH FALLS. It will be on your left just pass mile marker 62.
