This trail is worth a couple hours of driving to get there. The trail was expertly engineered and is well maintained! There are additions and redesigns every year. Check out the large map at the Mount Union trail head posted at the parking lot. There is a lot of up and down so you don't get winded 30mins in. There are inner loops and downhill sections. Its like an amusement park without having to wait in line. Expect a lot of rock gardens, large logs, log ramps, some boulder drops, everything. The hard stuff generally has an "easy way around" so everyone can enjoy this place. Expect to be there two to four hours. Bring water, a helmet, and gloves. Make sure your brakes work! New bikes are welcome but there are bike remains scattered about the trails, so be warned. Remove your reflectors and such before going all out. And watch for hikers.

when starting out from trail head instead of riding up the powerline look to the right as soon as u leave parking lot! this is a new section that was made last fall on the way back to car its better to ride powerline
