A great place to spend a couple hours on well designed trails. Fun and fast mostly smooth single track that takes you out on a island of land surrounded by the Chicago River and Skokie Lagoons. Easy to get turned around with all the interconnecting loops... Just keep going and you will eventually end up where you entered. Some fun built obstacles, ramps etc need repair. Will ride here again when visiting N suburbs...

Unless you live in the area and can bike there locally, don't bother going. There are better places to ride.

Hey giant x3. here's some better directions, get off the Edens at tower road. follow tower to the intersection at forest way. take a left on forest way. proceed a mile or two until you see a large grassy clearing and a picnic shelter on your left. there are usually lots of cars parked there. there is a paved bike trail that runs along forest way. the bone's head is located just off this paved trail, its a gravel path. hopefully this helps a bit? in other news, the jumps at the bone have been taken down. still trying to figure out who did this...

No doubt a very fun trail. Once you hit the broken pavement, take a right for the dirt jumps, hill, and more. Or, take a left and there will be a trail that loops back to where you started. Caution when it's wet. There are spots among this trail that flood, as it is very close to a large lagoon.
