Swan River Trail

Trail Description:
This is a neat way to get to the beach without having to drive or pay. It also lets you see the extensive wildlife preserve.

How to get there:
From Washington D.C.: Take Rt 50/Rt 301 east until you reach Rt 50 south. Take Rt 50 south until Salisbury. In Salisbury get on Rt 13 south until you reach 175 east. This will take you to Main St which you make a left on and drive until you reach Maddox Blvd. Maddox will take strait to Assateague Island National Seashore. There is a small fee to enter the park(unless you're on your bike). Once you are in go to the parking lot and look at the map.

i go down to chincoteague once a year ride this all the time great way to get to beach but a little hard if you are a beginer cause the wind is really strong sometimes
