This is a very scenic trail in which you can see alot of wildlife. If you decide to ride either on either Solitude or Brighton ski mountains, be sure to pace yourself. It is at a high altitude. The singletrack through the trees is great.

How to get there:
From Salt Lake Itnl Airport: Head south on Rt 15 until you see the ski area exits. Get off 15 and get on Big Cottonwood Drive. Stop at the bottom to get on the trail.

The person who posted this is geographically challenged. There are many great rides in BCC but this description makes no sense and should be removed.

This trail is actually quite nice with a good climb and you can opt to take the trail as opposed to the paved road. Roller coaster riding is a pretty good description. If out of state as I was from the south, the altitude may be a problem for the first day or so.

Do it on a road bike. This is a paved road up the canyon. It is not a mountain bike trail, although some spectacular mountain bike trails can be accessed from it. Try Mill D - North Fork trail or Solitude Ski area, both with 5-star singletrack.
