Trail Description:
It is a very steep and rocky trail. There are tight turns and big rocks in your way. Watch out.
How to get there:
Take Rt 76 out towards Hershey, PA. Get onto Rt 322 near Hershey and you will see signs towards Mt. Gretna. Follow the signs carefully because they can be confusing. Once you are at the mountain, your free to ride.

severed d1ck..I've biked the govna d1ck trails multiple times and I'm not entirely sure where this trail by the name "severed d1ck" is. For all I know I've been down it. peace. a trail number would be nice. being that the name people give to trails isn't there. just numbers.

For 15+ years, I've ridden the old Donegal School property above Gretna, the State Game Lands #145 areas towards Colebrook, and the old Colebrook and Lebanon (C&L) main rail grade from Lebanon (Lebanon County), through Lancaster County, almost 26 miles to Middletown (oldest town in Dauphin County), but this is the first reference I've heard to the "Severed" trail name.
Perhaps best / most anvanced, technical riding are the rocky single tracks in the Mt. Gretna / Donegal / Governor Dk. property, which is flat up along the ridge and down at the rail, but brutal (steep, rocky) at many points in between. Try the fire trail (well maintained gravel) or the old narrow gauge rail grade switchback from the big rock on Pinch Road above Gretna, and ride or ski to the peak of Governor Dk., apparently named for an old freed-slave charcoal burner for the old iron mine and works at Cornwall and several other local furnaces, which in total represent the longest running iron range in the Ne

Some very technical stuff, and the downhill racers have recently added some wicked log and rock climbs. If you ain't on top of your game, bring a body shield.
