Luke's Trail

Trail Description:
Luke's Trail was the first trail built by Fuzzy Nance and the Price Area Singletrack Society in the Price Area Trail System. Luke's is an out-and-back trail with fun, fast, winding, singletrack that runs between junipers, sagebrush and cedars. There are narrow, ridgeline turns and well developed washes to test your navigation skills. A strong beginner would feel at home on this trail.

How to get there:
In Price, the strong-hearted can begin from Pioneer Park at the corner of 100 East and 500 North. Riders will continue west on 500 North and go up a steep dirt road which locals call "going up between the C's" because the Carbon High "C" is on the hills next to the road. Follow the road to the water tower. Just past the water tower is a oil pump pad and to the north west is a parking area and the trail head. For all other riders, take 100 East to 900 North, turn left (west) and continue up a semi-paved road (passable by car but bumpy). At the very top, as the paved road ends, there is an immediate left turn. You will see the water tower on your left and a small parking area to the right. Park here and the trailhead is to the west. The rest of the trails is easily navigated and easy to follow. Enjoy.
