Trail Description:
Tollhouse trail is for the weekend warrior or the beginner that wants an adrenaline rush. It is real loose from April to December. It includes many rock gardens and big ruts. This is a really fast trail and it's easy to fall. Also a couple of reallly technical sections and jumps with a small step up over a little creek.
How to get there:
From Fresno, take Tollhouse road for 12 miles and then you will come to sample road to your right take it all the way up for 10 miles until you come to the town of tollhouse. stop at the shell station or post office and you can park for shuttling just be polite and respect the locals. once you have come to the shell keep driving up sample . the road is a two lane with narrow lanes so drive with caution. the road has a lot of turns. after about 3 miles the road will get bigger and you will see an empty dirt parking lot. their you will unload the bike and your buddy will drive back down to shuttle you. go along the trail for about 1/4 mile. you will come to a gate cross it and then go to the right and you will be on the trail. have fun !
