D&R Canal State Park System

Trail Description:
This trail in a big V it runs from New Brunswick - Trenton along the Raritan Canal then from Trenton - New Hope along the Deleware River. There are many parking lots along the way to enter the trail from various points. State park web site has trail map.

How to get there:
To enter at Griggstown (Franklin Township) take route 1 to New Road west. Cross over route 27. New Road becomes Bunkerhill Road. When road ends make left onto Canal Road. Small parking lot is a short distance on right.

Additional Notes:
one recommedation is the ride from Griggstown to Harrison Road and back (16 miles round trip).
