Trail Description:
This has become a pretty well known MTB spot. It is mainly singletrack with not too much technical riding. Some of it is technical and you should be prepared for that. Hills can be pretty long but it won't get real hot so there's no problem there.

How to get there:
From Charlotte: Take Rt 77 north to Rt 40. Go west on Rt 40 past Asheville. Continue on Rt 40 until you see signs and exits for the park. Follow the signs to parking.

The Great Smokey Mountains have no legal single tracks, and is not within 30 miles of Waynesville North Carolina. If you take I-40 the first GSMNP signs are 50 miles away. Pisgah National Forest has great trails and is near Waynesville but these are not correct directions. But the directions that are given are wrong period!

There are no legal trails within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Some gravel roads are legal.

I can't tell from your description where this trail is. The park is huge and does not allow bikes on the single track trails. Need more details on how to find this place. Thanks
