Trail Description:
These are well-maintained forest service roads. Start at Old Pac West Ski Area parking lot. From the Northwest end of the lot cycle up the unsigned road ignoring spurs. At the 4-way intersection turn left. At 1.9 miles the road crosses Mill creek and begins to climb. Stay on road passing spur road 124 and 125. Continue to Windy Pass (3,860 feet) at 5.0 miles. Stay right at 1st intersection and reach a small pond at 5.7 miles. This is the turn around point.

How to get there:
From Seattle, head East on I-90 to Snoqualmie Pass and Exit 54. Go straight off exit, and follow old Hwy 10 into Old Pac West Ski Area. Enter parking lot and look to right for the dirt road heading uphill. Park here.

The ski area is now known as... Summit East or the Nordic Center. This is double track climbing at its finest. You will be spent by time you get to the top. The view from the top is unreal. Be carefull there are lots of cars going up the road to start a hike at Windy Pass or to join the PCT. The ride down averaged 25 mph+ so hold on.
