Additional Notes:
Ask a ranger for a map of the trails or just ride around and explore.

This is not accurate. Canyon Rims Rec. Area is not in the park, and is not off of 313. It is south of Moab.

this is a huge area east and south of Canyonlands NP. I have the guide book of trails for the area. Listed are all trails built for hiking, mainly to viewpoints of the numerous canyons in the area. Also arches and petroglyph sites. It has a route connecting many of the trails here, making a 235 mile route. Of the trails in the book, most interesting are Hop Creek-Stevens Canyon Trail, Upper Indian Creek-Shay Mesa and the Lockhart Basin Trail.
