This trail is just about all singletrack. There is some serious elevation change so if your not in great shape, this could be a tough one.

How to get there:
From Moab: Head south on Rt 211 until you get to Newspaper Rock. Park at the lot there and go 2 miles to Hart's Draw Road. After 10 miles on Dalton Springs Road, go east. Go 2 miles in Monticello and then 8 miles on FSO79 over Jackson Ridge. Go another 2 miles on Jackson Ridge Road and look for Shay Ridge Trail(it is hard to find). Ride 22 miles back to your car.

The boyfriend may be making me ride this over spring break, any info would be much appreciated. 4 lines describing a 5 mile ride doesn't seem adequate...

Does anyone who has actually ridden this trail have an opion or words of wisdom about it?

I've done quite a bit of riding in the Abajos, and this sounds like a death march for sure. Ridden most of the roads mentioned here. Just roads up and around there is tough, fifty miles? Please post any survivors here.....
