Trail Description:
It is mostly slickrock with some sand and dirt mixed in. Everyone can have a good time because the trail is an out and back trail that gets harder as it goes on. Just turn around when it stars to get too technical.
How to get there:
From Moab follow Rt. 191 North for about 16 miles to the trailhead.

This is a great ride for beginners who have a little fitness, and everyone else who is looking for an off-day ride. Not very technical, but entertaining enough not to be boring. The view at the end is impressive. This was my wife's first MTB ride & she'll be back for more.

A great introductory first ride in Moab. Do this before going to the Slick Rock ride. It's easy enough for experienced riders to take in a tall gear, but has a variety of small challenges if that's what you're looking for. Excellent view from the top followed by a fun down hill back to the car. Park off the highway and use the dirt road portion as a warm-up. If you don't drive in there won't be so much dust.

Our favorite ride in Moab. Drive 3-4 miles from the main gate. You'll cut off the boring road ride and eat a lot less dust.

This is a fun warm up ride that's great in the morning before hitting the harder stuff. The slickrock playground, about half way through the ride, will induce perma-grin on your face! Check out the dinosaur tracks - very cool! Make the ride back a big ring hammerfest for kicks.
