Trail Description:
These are really cool trails. The ride combines desert with deep pine forests. What more could you want for an MTB ride? You can make a loop or check out some of the other trails. Just ride around and enjoy the unique and spectacular scenery.

How to get there:
From Tuscon: Go southeast on Rt 10 to Wilcox. From there get on Rt 186 and go 30 miles. After 30 miles, go east on Rt 181 for 3 miles. Drive down forest service rd 42. Most of the trails are near Onion Saddle.

Check out Pinery Horesfall Trail, nicest one I found. Pine Canyon is a shady, lazy doubletrack. Devil's Canyon Trail is very steep, in Rucker area.

For a tough ride, start on Pinery Canyon road where the road forks for Methodist Camp. Climb up nearly 3,000 feet to Rustler's Peak, and then take the jeep trail down the backside to Methodist Camp.
