Kind of a bummer to find this on the internet, but anyways. IF you are in excellent shape, IF you have excellent technical skills and can ride what others walk, and IF you are acclimated to riding above 10 and 11k feet in altitude then maybe you could consider doing this ride. The previous review is correct, the climb will make your balls hurt, you may crap your pants, and you will definitely be seeing cross-eyed long before the climbing is done. Then the ride back down is equally if not more taxxing. There is also variable weather and lightning that will kill you... when you're on top there is no place to hide and no easy or fast way down. Be prepared and have fun, this is an Epic Rocky Mtn singletrack ride.
