Yeah Nevada, ya sound like a "Crotch Sniffer".. Bring your sorry kiester down along with gramps and help these poor ole Texas folks over the trail

Not bad for a bunch of Texan's I guess, but if you want real action you need to come to Nevada.. The Sunflower trail my grandmother could ride in her walker.. GSL could be handled by Grandpa (it did take some energy from the ole fart.)but he made it in fair time.

My husband and I ride the Lighthouse trail every week. But for a beginner I would recommend the Sunflower trail its fairly easy bothe directions.

fun trail. fun people. best part of the ride are the side trails and jumps people have created. very quick changes of scenery. trails are well taken care of and people treat them well. this is definately worth the trip.

Used to be an Amarillo local and rode these trails often. The Lighthouse trail was my first mtn bike experience off of pavement and I fell in love with riding from there. Great scenic trails, just watch for prickly pears!! Definetly invest in some tube liners if you plan on riding here often.

My wife and I drove all the way from Longview Tx. for these trails. 11 hours but it was worth it...watch out for hully gully...it's a very technical part of the trail....I left more than a little skin there...Make the trip..it's great

...adding to Dak's comments there are now 2 new trails in the caynon. One is a very technical loop off the Capitol Peak trail and the the other is an extentsion to the sunflower trail that has 5-6 technical climbs and some very fast rollers as well. Just watch out for the " Blair Witch " stones placed beside the trails on this one!
