Trail Description:
This trail has a killer uphill, asingle track traverse that is excellent and a great downhill!!

From your car, get on your bike and head back the way you came in but turn left onto the paved road. Ride the road for about 3/4 of a mile and on the left you will see a firewood logging operation follow the left across the stream and continue up the hill along the old logging road. It is quite a climb but a grat work out. There is only one trail so it is not hard to follow, but after 1 - 11/2 miles alng the traverse there is right you can take this is caled "the outer limits" this is another killer uphill. It too is the only trail to follow so it's easy to find. Eventually this trail comes back out to the connector trail and that eventually comes to the parking area where your car. Have fun!!

How to get there:
North on 100 from Waterbury to Stowe.Just before Stowe turn left to Moscow. Follow the Moscow road for aprox. 3 miles. Pass the right toward Trapp Family Lodge, after you cross a bridge the road turns right but straight ahead is a dirt road. A pull over on the right is where you park your car.

I don't know where the "Connector" is, but there are some super sweet trails that are between Moscow, the high school, and the Mountain Road that I rode on 08/30/08. Park at IRide bike shop in town and ride from their parking lot. It is all single track with fun, fun, fun switchbacks - technical ups and downs, lots of bridges, and a great view from a lift chair nailed to a tree. Loved it! One note: don't go if there has been a lot of rain.

If your looking for some good trails you can go pu near the top of weeks hill for some short rides. Up in sterling valley there are some trails, but for the most either go behind the high school or Irie cycles. there is a way to connect through both

it has also been extensively logged and pretty much no longer exsists. There is very little legal riding here in Stowe, Irie Cycles is the only actual bike shop in town, ask there for detailes on trail conditions and where to ride.
