Trail Description:
Winding singletrack through the forest along the Minnesota River. West end is flat with log and creek crossings, east end is rolling singletrack with short steep climbs. Many good access points to get in or bail out along the way. There are a few side trails and it is possible to extend another 10 miles along river to Fort Snelling. Many deer as well as other smaller forest creatures will keep you company along the way. A great ride for beginners, but even advanced riders love this trail.
How to get there:
Fron Minneapolis take 35W south to 98th street. West on 98th to Colombus ave. East on 101st street to Indian Mounds School. Trail head is at south end of school fields. Park in school lot or street, please respect the people who live on this street. Keep it good for all of us.
Additional Notes:
Largest National Wildlife Refuge within a metropolitan area!

This trail is not in Mississippi. It is, however, in Minnesota!!! Definitely in Minnesota. I haven't visited them so my rank is souly based on the fact that they are not close to Mississippi.
