Hurricane Creek Park

Trail Description:
I am John McCrary, park manager/trail designer and trail builder of Hurricane Creek Park.

We have a small but deep canyon with a few hundred acres surrounding it that have about 8 miles of trail with many wooden features to enjoy.

My plans are to continue to expand into Alabama's only Free Ride Park and holding annual comps.

How to get there:
The park is located in north central Alabama From interstate 65 take the lacon/vinemont exit #318 south towards Cullman, go 1 1/2 miles, its on the left.

i came here this past weekend, and drove about 3 hours after i saw pics online, this was so much fun. It was totally worth my drive, they also have rock climbing and a beautiful landscape. I also loved all the wooden obstacles. I hope they keep building more.

I made the drive up to cullman from birmingham a few months ago to give this thing a run. These are the most insane trails in the state if not the southeast, it's a lot of freestyle stuff. I went with a hard tail... wish I had had a full suspension. I've ridden some good trails to like tsali and blanket's creek, this honestly just puts those trails to shame. Will definitely be making the drive up again.
