went out on a fall weekend and saw maybe 2 people at the trail head and nobody on the trails. Slightly confusing on the trail markings at points and some strange caution signs. All in all generally fun, not too technical but enough to keep you cautious. Oh, and there are some outrageously fun little parts of trails.

Great trail. for being in sptbg, offers a lot of variety. some of the eastern parts of the loop are poorly marked, and climbing over roots can be a little tough sometimes. i start at the parkinglot and go left around the loop and come down outlaw... to centerline. 2 bucks per car to help maintain the trails isnt bad at all. if you do the whole loop i recommend having either 2 water bottles or a camelbak.

For an absolute beginner like myself, it is very difficult in some places. I wish there was an area around SPBRG that I could practice in the open what I experience within inches of trees at Southside...

In great shape thanks to work of bike club. No longer called Tour de Dump, now refered to as Southside Trail. Eventually there should be a Northside trail, too, but not yet. For a lot more information see www.umba.net There is also a National MTB Patrol unit operating there. Come try the Tuesday night group rides with A, B, Girls, and Beginners groups.
