Trail Description:
This is some of the fastest singletrack in Phoenix. Rolling smooth singletrack. Take a 30 minute ride or a 6+ hour epic. Literally a hundred miles of singletrack to choose from.
How to get there:
Scottsdale rd. north to Dynamite rd. Park on the corner. Cross Dynamite rd. Follow powerlines northeast on dirt road. Singletrack shoots off to the right a little bit past the first cattleguard.
Additional Notes:
There are many possibilities out here. Less than 20% of the singletrack is used by mountainbikers.

Have been riding this area each Saturday for the last 4 weeks. Definitely something for everyone. Can ride for hours without running into anyone else. Great scenery/views. Ride to the larger hills, take a break and take in the views. Watch out for the several sandy trails and roads. Will bog you down.

Too many good trails. I fess up I haven't ridden on this system for 3 years but I've been busy. I'm nearing the opportunity to go again. My old mountain bike was just a front suspension and now I have full suspension. Plus my roommmate's moving out and I have the gumption to put my bike near the door for a quick getaway to Dynamite. Last time I rode I did not have enough water and I got lost east of "Girls just want to have fun" on some trail that had lots of boring level zig zags. I decided to think and climbed up a hill far enough to see the powerlines. Then headed straight west, not caring whether I would be approaching snakes or not. But I came to a dual track trail and then I knew where I was. Well worth riding, folks! This could be my New Years Day ride.

Great place to ride,,endless single and double tracks. There are some ATV's around, but I saw more mtn bikers than ATV's. Great views. Better directions ..take 101 fwy (Pima fwy) (watch out for speed cameras on roads in this area) North, Off Pima/Princess offramp. take Pima north a few miles to Dynamite, park on side of road and head north by the power lines....take lots of water and get ready for some great climbs.
Its a bit uphill from the cars for miles, its a fast ride back..enjoy!!!

The directions given above are wrong. When you get to Scottsdale road and Dynamite, go east to Pima and Dynamite and start there.

Robert must have stuck to the fire/powerline road. The single tracks are awesome and endless.
