Mostly intermediate stuff here. Fairly long climbs if you want them. Almost the only highly technical stuff is due to some erosion issues, but some switchbacks are pretty tough. Some trails have a lot of rocks. Only one truly flat trail, Flat Run, of course. But absolutely nothing in the park is unrideable for skilled riders. The reported 800 feet in a mile in another comment here is far wrong. BeardsGap covers about 550 ft at best, and is more than a mile. The steepest is probably BuckHollow or MountainTop, but even these vary and give you some breaks. Best long climb is Stony Run, 4.5 miles. DON'T MISS Tuscarora trail and its overlook, offering a great vista of the the lake, the ridge on the other side of the park, and multiple ridges looking from NE to SE. Best view in the park, by far. Get a trail map at the office, all is quite well marked, no reason to get lost. This park is my playground, and you'll be hard pressed to top this as a biking destination. Lots of trails arou

Suggest climbing Stony Run most of it is ridable. Do not recommend climbing Blue S Falls trail. You will mostly be walking your bike up the trail. Once at the top enjoy the view from Tuscarora overlook then turn back and bomb down Stony Run or if you areab expert rider go down Blue S Falls trail

Bearded Gap is a black diamond climb that punishes with an 800ft climb in less than a mile. The discription of this park is for most trails but on the ranger station side of road is stupid steep.

The trails are a lot of fun. A lot of single track and the down hill on Stony Run Trail is AWESOME!!!!! The down hill on Brushy Hollow Trail is great too!!! The climbs and switchbacks are not bad and definitely worth it!!
