Trail Description:
Nice tight singletrack, with a few viscous climbs filled with roots and rocks. Two steep downhill runs, one with two moderatley high dropp offs. The scenery and the riding here is first class.

How to get there:
Coming from PA Route 313 (north bound), make a right onto stump road. Follow stump road till it directly intersects with the park. At the park, park your vehicle in the lower lot next to the wooden bridge (closed to vehicles). This is where you gotta ride up to the trail head. Follow the paved road up the hill, till you see a street sign showing a "road" intersecting, this is actually the trail head. It is a short steep climb up on and in...Have Fun

Additional Notes:
Try to get on the trail, early in the morning or latter on in the day. Otherwise the trail can be very busy.

Good trail to learn to ride technical. if you're new to it ride the top trails. If you've got pads ride the lower trails!

Followed the driving and trailhead entry instructions and found everthing pretty smoothly. Take note of the correction for route# 313!~ It should be 413. Otherwise the trip to Ralph Stover proved to be worthwhile. The terrain is challenging enough for even the seasoned veteran to enjoy him/or herself. I'm a bit concerned with this particular trail being called a loop, as I was forced to reconnect with the same spoor I entered the grounds on back to the lot. But all-in-all a good time was had and the scenery is nothing short of spectacular.

I was there over labor day with a few friends. It was not crowded at all. There is a lot of loose rock and roots to deal with, and evidence of erosion exposing many, many roots. Great ride.

directions should read from route 413, not 313. it's a good ride, enjoy.

Awesome location- right along side a twisting, turning creek. Rises about 200 feet above creek at points. This creek is stage 3-4 rapids during summer. Some tech. stuff. Very scenic and great downhills. Some uphills require dismounting.

This is my home turf, not bad for what it is. A good ride, lasts an hour if you're in decent shape. The trail is pretty technical and needs some maintenence in places. Watch out for 3 steep creek crossings. Enjoy!
