I agree, good after work workout, I like this trail to ride with my 14yr old son, I dont have to worry about him killing himself, and still get a good rush, well kept park, not a waste of time.

Off road velodrome , hard pack and loose turns boost your ego. Ps, has anyone seen the hipster on the single speed vintage road bike at this trail ?

As previoulsy mentioned, great after work cardio. Minus two points for the clowns that play dress up for the tour de france, to ride through a campground in yaphank.

Not bad for Long Island, but leaves you yearning for elevation. Good for night rides on weekdays after work. The twisty turny stuff gets old fast. I'll save my weekends for drives upstate and to Vermont.

Very nice! If your a beginner this is the place to be. It's all about loops, no rocks, WELL maintained. I've been there twice and definitely coming for more.
