Trail Description:
Big fan of ascending? This is the trail for you! Straight up and straight down.Very technical and steep . This is a ridge trail at it's finest! The hills look impossible but believe me, can be ridden all the way!

There is a bonus for you trail seekers: a water hole in an adjacent valley, takes about a 30 min hike to get there.Great on hot days! If you find it, return another day with a lock and hike down. This little side trail is about half way up and goes off of the right side of the trail.

How to get there:
Take H-1 Ewa bound (NW) and take Pearl city exit (after "Ka'ahumanu" overpass). Merge

right and follow to the end, you will intersect "Waimano Home Road" make a right turn. Go uphill about 3 lights and make a left onto "Komo Ma'i Dr. stay on this road till the very end!(about 5 mi.)come to a dead end, park your vehicle nearby and respect the neighborhood people. The trail head is at the top of the loop pass the gates.

Additional Notes:
This trail is not for the faint hearted. It is straight up and sraight down (i've hit 35 mph on it.)

this was the sweetest trail that i have ever been on, since i started riding a little while ago. the ride up is kind of brutal, but it is well worth it in the end. Breathtaking views, so bring a camera. The ride down is the best part, you get going pretty fast, lots of side trails that you can take. Well worth the ride up, bring lots of water and your sense of speed. Intermediate type trail with some technical turns but nothing to bad.

This trail goes forever. Hazards everywhere, and not alot to ride. Suggest Aiea loop.

This trail was sweet a few years ago but erosion and angry hikers are getting to it. Used to love this trail but it's getting real bad. Too many huge roots and bad off camber stuff, maybe good for couple rides but hike it and find secret trail to waterfall and swimming hole, or hike to the top of ridge and check out kaneohe
