Great challenging trails on the south side of Ward Rd. If you are a beginner it's a good place to learn. Beginners will get frustrated by the rooty inclines. These are not rail trails. It's not flat. I find most of the people that do not like these trails don't have the experience it takes to ride them. There's plenty of fast on the southwest (blue) trail, This is a very good place to train. If you can handle working for the benefits of this place, I highly suggest it. There's also a "beginner's" trail on the north side of Ward Rd that I have not yet been on. Don't get discouraged by bad reviews of Caesar Creek. Just because someone dose not like it, does not mean you won't either.

I forgot to say, this path is completely lacking of any maintenance at all. They must have had huge budget cuts... if the trails were maintained better it wouldn't be so bad. No one enjoys branches and brambles scratching you up, it looks like the old reviews were good, but they haven't done any trail maintenance in the last few years.

And people think that Ohio doesn't have any remotely challenging trails! This trail is great for those bikers in Ohio who want a challenge. Great climbs and descents for this area. Make sure you have lots of time and experience before you go, or you will be a very unhappy biker by the end of the trail. This is not the trail to start on; go to the beginner loop at Huffman Dam metro park in Dayton or the easier loops in John Bryan if you're new at this. As far as maintenance goes, it's an advanced trail; expect rocks and roots. The trail doesn't have trees in the middle of the trail or branches meant to knock your head off, so all is good.

rode 20 miles yesterday....these trails rock. There is 18 to 20 miles of trails, many newer trails and different loops. From fast flowing single-track to very technical clmbs and decents....great fun!!!

I rode this trail two weeks ago and I am still healing (insert long story about getting use to new TIME pedals). Anyhow, it was the first time I rode this trail and was impressed at how well maintained the trail was. It was a great ride with some killer scenic views. This was the trail off of brimstone/wade road.

This is a good trail for Western Ohio, but if you compare it to other trails around the country, it is pretty lame. If you are in the Dayton area, you won't find much better.

The trail hasn't been maintained since the Civil War!? I ride this trail more than once a week because it's close. Drive a little longer and you can go to southeast OH- where most of the best trails in the state are!

I am only 16 years old and my dad and I have been going to Ceasars Creek to mountain bike since I can remember. There are a lot of technical parts of the trail but the majority a beginner can ride it. I've been on quite a few trails and this is by far the best one. Definately worth our 2 hour drive there.
