Trail Description:
This trail has some very technical parts and a couple of steep uphills, but mostly it is suitable for just about any level of skill. Check out the other side of the creek for you advanced riders its a new trail that the trailblazers are adding to every day!
How to get there:
From downtown Portage (Central Ave. and Willowcreek Rd.) take Central Ave east till it deadends at McCool Rd, go north or left till road starts to curve, just before curve is the entrance to Imagination Glen Park. Go into Park and take first right to the trailhead parking trail starts at the Kiosk sign

Beginning of route (near peninsula) was very confusing due to construction and wet road. Othewise, fun ride. Came back to lot to find my road bike (which was locked to bike rack) had it's front tire stolen! Beware!

Hey old timers quit telling me I'm going the wrong direction, its a damn trail there is no wrong way. Other then that good trails be riding there for 10 years now.

I moved out here in 2005 may and fell in love with these trails. You gotta ride it worth the trip.

This trail has come a long way.The trail is fun and makes ya work .Don't miss it on your way by.Its worth the drive.

The map posted here is old. So are the details. The trail is now a full 10 miles (plus another mile of "off-route" trail).
It's not one of the best trails in northern Indiana ... It's THE BEST trail in northern Indiana ;-)

rode twice, raced once. MY FIRST RACE! loved it. trails are clean technical and scenic. one of the best in northern indiana.

If you love to MTB then you must go on the other side of the creek for the ride of your life! IT's quite a workout but very enjoyable.
