You can ride bikes.. I live in Joetown.. It is conservation land, but they are ok with it.. In fact we are building new trials out there with their help...

Just so you all know, these trails are closed to Trail bikes, motor bikes, and Atvs. Ride there at your own risk. You get caught and you get ticketed.

The name of the wilderness are north of St. Joseph here is called SunBRIDGE Hills W.A. Of course bikes are allowed. There are no motor vehicles allowed (most trails were made by dirt bikes). This isn't a long area of trails, but the mid-ridge trail is fun. Scenery is fantastic in the fall.

It is true that Sun Bridge is currently closed to bycycles, however the trails to the south are still open. These are motorcyle trails that when dry are very fun to ride. Climbs are steep so bring your legs! Also, the trails at Krug Park (on the East side of I-229) are open to bicycles. They are less than a half milefrom Sun Bridge. Plan on riding both as the trail system is fairly short. Both areas have some fairly technical sections most of which are rideable
