Trail Description:
The Joplin Trails offer lots of fun trails with a little something for everyone. The trails are a combination of singletrack and doubletrack allowing you to pick your own route. The trails here aren't anything worth driving for, but if you're in the area they can be a fun workout.
How to get there:
park at St. Louis Street and Zora. Enter the Frisco Trail (a rail to trail) head southwest on the Frisco and then off to the west at the second bench or head off to the west at the two white post markers which are found about qtr mile past the bridge.

Hi. I usually run at deffirent times of the day, usually before noon. But often I will go later in the day. I do find that changing my routes around seems to have a positive effect. I have read that it is also good to do regular routes in reverse to balance out the angle of the pavement. This is especially good for city street routes where the road shoulders are tilted for drainage. It is supposed to loosen the joints, especially the ankles. I can see how changing your running times would have an effect as well. Unfortunately for me, my times are never regular enough to make a dif! I looked at your workout schedule, impressive! Nice work.

They are closing alot of the singletrack on the west side of the frisco trail. Please go to your Joplin bike shop to get info about opening new trails. This time we will keep trash dumpers away from our riding area.
